Critical Care Bundles Program through Simulation Based Learning

Atmosphere of the Critical Care Bundles Program through Simulation Based Learning training course, held under the concept “Implementing Quality Improvement Strategies to Reduce Healthcare-Associated Infections,” conducted from June 18th – 28th, 2024, at the Simulation Center of Thai Medical Group 88 Co., Ltd. This training was organized for registered nurses and practical nurses working in the critical care unit of MedPark Hospital. The objective was to develop the skills of hospital staff to effectively care for patients at risk of device-associated infections, ensuring patient safety in alignment with hospital protocols and international standards.
The training was initiated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siriorn Watcharanananan (infectious disease specialist, MedPark Hospital) who recognized the importance of this program. She collaborated with a team of instructors from the Simulation Center and clinical nursing experts from MedPark Hospital. The participants expressed a high level of satisfaction with the training and gained substantial knowledge, skills, and awareness in caring for patients at risk of device-associated infections, consistent with the hospital’s guidelines and policies.
